WOW starting an on line journal is something that I never thought that I would do. But since I had the gastric bypass surgery on 10/5/05, I have wanted to do something to reach other people that have had the same experiences as me. I started preparing for the surgery about 9 months before my surgery date. What a long time to have to think about something. It was like I was pregnant and waiting for my due date. Towards the end it was like an obsession with me I was going to have this surgery no matter what.
